<p>The Carson Center for Human Services strives to improve health outcomes for those we serve by providing “Real Help with Real Life” through an array of behavioral health services that foster recovery and resilience within a framework of hope, healing, and empowerment. </p> <p>Our mission is to “help people achieve greater health and well-being in everyday life. We bring compassionate expertise to behavioral health, wellness and education services for people of all ages and abilities.” </p>

<p>Every year, The Carson Center serves some 4000 at-risk people, who are disabled, low-to-moderate income, including children with serious emotional and behavioral disorders, and adults with serious and chronic mental illness, who reside in underserved rural and urban regions of the Pioneer Valley. <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Our services are driven by our goal of assisting individuals to pursue their highest possible degree of personal well-being and independence to achieve productive lives at home, school, work and in the community. <p> </p> <p> </p>

<div>Our programs include The Center for Abilities Unlimited; Center for Adults and Families; Westfield Crisis Intervention; Center for Crisis Stabilization and Respite Services; Center for Development; Center for Children and Youth; Center for Traumatic Brain Injury Services; Community Service Agency; and The Carson Center at Valley Human Services. </div> <div> </div> <div>Our programs provide individual, family and group counseling for people of all ages, including psychiatric assessments and medication follow-ups; alcohol and drug recovery groups; freedom from violence groups; care coordination services; in-home therapy and therapeutic mentoring in the home and in the community for youth. </div>
