Mission Statement
The GREY2K USA Education Fund works to provide the public with documentation and facts about dog racing, and promotes the adoption of needy ex-racers worldwide through special events throughout the year, paid advertisements and our free Greyhounds in the Classroom and Greyhounds in the Library programs, .

Through our research, we have documented and exposed the cruelty of dog racing and influenced public policy on this issue, both here in the United States and abroad. Our humane education programs for kids teach compassion and promote adoption of greyhounds worldwide.

Christine Dorchak has extensive professional experience in the animal protection movement, and has also volunteered for many humane organizations. She previously worked as Research Director for the New England Anti-Vivisection Society and is a former manager of the Ellen Gifford Sheltering Home for Cats. Christine is a long distance runner and has participated in seven Boston Marathons to date. She graduated with honors from the New England School of Law.

Program Description:
We believe that once people understand what is happening to greyhounds, they will join with us in working to save these gentle dogs. We do public information requests, gather information and produce white papers on dog racing. We also conduct public surveys to track attitudes on this industry and learn how best to communicate our message that dog racing is cruel and inhumane and must end.
