Build awareness, skills, and knowledge among policymakers and key stakeholders to actively promote new and effective oral health policies.

Goal 3: Expand the community. The challenges are identified clearly enough to elicit solutions.”

“TrendNotes provides state policymakers and advocates with scientific-based research and examples of best practices for advancing innovative oral health policies. The first issue of TrendNotes was the catalyst for Word of Mouth, a publication of the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control that promotes the importance of good oral health, advances prevention efforts, and provides state-wide oral health advocates with the information and tools they need to create a South Carolina where every person enjoys optimal oral health.”
“The National Maternal and Child Oral Health Policy Center is the first place that I consider when I am looking for the latest information and timely analysis on recent federal and state legislation, regulations, political deliberations, policies, and key players in public affairs impacting oral health.
