Mission Statement

The mission of the American Foundation for Animal Rescue Inc., a nonprofit IRS 501C (3) charitable organization since 1997, is to provide direct and indirect community support and protection for homeless and abandoned animals through animal welfare advocacy, advocating for sensible public policies, promoting family and public education, and developing community-based programs including supporting or maintaining animal shelter and sanctuary facilities, veterinary care and spay/neuter programs and legislative advocacy.
