Program Description:
Weekly visits to Pleasant Valley Shelter (Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday), Wellsprings (Thursday), Light of Light (Tuesday and Wednesday), Miryams (Wednesday) and Womanspace East (Monday). There we host a Bible study, book club, and play games and build relationships with people by exposing our lives and listening to the stores of the homeless.

Program Description:
It is an yearly festival for homeless at Allegheny Commons Park where the homeless are served food and given winter clothes. Volunteers interact with homeless through games, trivia, worship, prayer, and acts and crafts. Happens on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Program Description:
Host a comprehensive job fair for the homeless three times a year at Allegheny Center Alliance Church in March, August, and December. This job fair is selective and not only provides opportunities for employment, but teaches job readiness and job retention. Classes are taught in the morning followed by lunch and opportunities to meet with prospective employers. Resumes are written for each participant and each participant is followed up with until employment is obtained.

Program Description:
This project starts at Bellefield church in Oakland. The staff and volunteer cook 60 breakfast sandwiches at 5:00am. After the breakfast are made, they transport breakfasts to Northside and Wilkinsburgh Labor Ready. Breakfasts are served to homeless and very low incomers who are seeking temporary manual labor jobs. It is followed by a Bible study for anyone interested in participating.
