<p>Safe Horizon supports and advocates for more than 250,000 children, youth, and adults affected by violence each year.&nbsp; As the nation&#8217;s leading provider of services and programs for victims of domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, rape and sexual assault, stalking, homeless youth and families of homicide victims, we offer the lifesaving - and life-changing - help victims need to heal and rebuild their lives after crisis.&nbsp; Because of our expertise, we were chosen to run the first urban Child Advocacy Centers in the nation to give child victims of abuse state-of-the-art support to help them recover and heal, and we help 5,000 abused children each year. Safe Horizon was also entrusted to run New York City&#8217;s domestic violence hotline, and, we are the largest provider of shelter and services to victims of domestic violence in the country.&nbsp; We answer more than 350 calls a day through our 24-hour victim services hotlines.&nbsp; &nbsp;Our Counseling Center is the only New York state-licensed program to provide trauma counseling to victims of crime and abuse.&nbsp; We make 18,000 outreach contacts to homeless youth through our Streetwork program, offering them a safe place where they can come in from the cold, get a warm meal, and start to move away from life on the streets.&nbsp; Our Anti-Trafficking program is the largest on the East Coast, working to prevent modern-day slavery in the United States.&nbsp; All of our programs offer intensive and crucial assistance for survivors to help them regain and rebuild their lives.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
