Mission Statement
Dilgo Khyentse Fellowship/Shechen supports Tibetan cultural and spiritual preservation throughout the Himalayan region. We provide an authentic traditional Buddhist education for children, young adults, and women.

Program Description:
This program supports the education, housing, food, and medical care for 100 Buddhist nuns in Bhutan. Some of the nuns are engaged in long-term meditation retreats; the majority of the nuns study a 9-year philosophical course at the nunnery's philosophical college. Upon graduation, they will be teachers in their communities and villages and in the college itself.
