Program Description:
Our website provides comprehensive, one stop information and networking resources where everyone can come to the table in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment to learn about everything from early learning developments to lifelong learning opportunities. In recent years, we've begun developing more community based programs, like FIRST robotics, Mini Maker Faires, and TEDx programs, but continue to provide a wealth of online support.
Program Long-Term Success:
As our main outreach, our website enables us to connect with families, students, educators and community resource providers around the nation and the world. The greatest measure of the success of this outreach is the sense of reliability and confidence users have in the resources we offer, as evidenced by consistent high usage of our site, and the consistent levels of inquiry from the general public, who have come to view us as a respected resource.
Program Short-Term Success:
Short term success comes in the way of an informed parent or student who is able to find the resource he or she needs to make informed decisions about education. Other short term success measures include people contacting us to have their resource included among our collection.
Program Success Monitored by:
Program success is monitored by observing levels of use on our website, references from other sites, groups and individuals, and user comments.
Program Success Examples:
We're regularly contacted by individuals around the world seeking information about education in their areas. We're try to connect them with helpful resources in their communities of which they're usually unaware. Contacts from others seeking to establish similar programs or activities to those we've initiated are also a good measure of success.
