Program Description:
<div>1.) Parent Mentors - Rescue Angels are parents of a child who has recovered or greatly improved from symptoms of autism, Asperger's or PDD-NOS through the services of Generation Rescue. Comprised of more than 1300 volunteers in 38 countries, Rescue Angels mentor families on how to chose a doctor, begin biomedical treatment and access resources in their local area. Rescue Angels support hundreds of calls and emails each week from families around the world. </div><div> </div><div>2.) Grant Program - Rescue Family grants provide critical medical treatments. Each grant includes visits with a specially trained doctor who treats autism and related disorders and provides individualized treatments for the child. The grant also provides science-based laboratory testing and essential vitamins and minerals that scientific studies have shown are deficient in children with autism</div><div> </div><div>3.) Conference - The AutimsOne Generation Rescue conference is the largest annual autism conference providing over 150 presentations from leading physicians, researchers and therapists. In addition to the education for the parents, continuing medical education (CME) is provided for physicians, continuing legal education (CLE) for attorneys, and first responders training. An annual conference that educates and empowers families. <br /></div><div> </div><div>4.) Hotline - A toll-free hotline to have immediate questions answered</div><div> </div><div>5.) Research - Generation Rescue focuses on researching the environmental causes of autism and best treatment options. <br /></div><div> </div><div> </div>
