We do not give handouts. We do not do what individuals can already do for themselves. We only work on projects that can be sustained and continue on. We work through indigenous efforts only, we are not interested in starting something new but rather empower local efforts. We avoid creating dependencies on our organization or individual volunteers.

To help others along life's journey is the greatest reward. Michael fulfills this by teaching others how to pass on information they have benefited from.

Leadership Statement:

Over several years of working with the utterly poor we know that they want what we all do. They want to know that they will be able to eat, feed their children, provide basic necessities of life. They want hope. This is such an easy thing to provide if people will just listen to the needs expressed. Our goal is that every person realizes they have something to contribute to others. Whether at home or abroad, if everyone would listen to the needs around them, and just do what they can. Nothing great, expensive or time consuming, just do what you can, then the world changes. Do something.
