Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
<div>Almost Home initiated several community outreach programs in the last two years. Tennessee REIN (Reaching Equine In Need) and the Almost Home Pet Food Bank offer resources to owners of companion animals in order to allow these animals to stay in their current homes. Almost Home has also assisted many other area shelters and rescues by offering dog and cat food for their sheltered pets. We continue our efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs and horses in Middle Tennessee.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>In 2012, we wish to expand the reach of our Pet Food Bank. We plan to continue and expand our rescue and rehabilitation efforts. We also hope to launch a pet welfare and wellness education program in the Middle Tennessee community. If requested grant funding is received, we also plan to launch a low-cost spay/neuter initiative in Middle Tennessee.</div>
