We develop, maintain, and provide free access to an online collection of more than 59,000 documents and other media files related to psychoactive drugs. More than 2.5 million people access the information in this archive each month. The collection contains essays and articles authored by a broad spectrum of contributors including health care professionals, substance abuse counselors, chemists, therapists, law enforcement agents, anthropologists, lawyers, researchers, educators, and the general public.

Program Description:
Erowid Center runs a street ecstasy testing
program. Members of the public submit suspected ecstasy tablets to a DEA-licensed
laboratory for analysis. Its purpose is
to collect, manage, review, and present laboratory pill testing results from a
variety of organizations. The information is made publicly available to help
harm-reduction efforts, medical personnel, researchers, and the general public.
Results are published online at Erowid Center’s Ecstasydata.org.

Collecting,
maintaining, and preserving resources about
psychoactives as a historical record for the future in order to help transmit the wisdom of psychoactive-using elders

includes the archiving and transcription of documents from the valuable

Stolaroff.
