Program Description:
This was a heroic effort, for which the numbers only hint at the true impact. Imagine hundreds of displaced persons were given the necessary assistance to restart their lives after the devastation to storm-ravaged New Orleans. They found jobs, a loving community, schools, food, clothing and shelter. These people were never refugees in Arizona, they were simply people who joined a new community and were allowed to find new homes, jobs and lives.
