She is the founder and former publisher of the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the leading journal on nonprofit management and philanthropy. While at the Review, she also launched the successful ssireview.org Web site and blog. Prior to her work at SSIR, Ni co-founded Grassroots Enterprise, a web tools company serving nonprofits. She is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley and Harvard Law School. She frequently speaks on topics of philanthropy and civil society and has spoken at the World Economic Forum, NetImpact, and Grantmakers For Effective Organizations. She is on the board of GoodWill Industries San Francisco, VoterWatch.org and on the advisory board of the Nonprofit Finance Fund
