Saving Lives Through Sterilization
- Budget:

- Category:

- Population Served:
-
Poor/Economically Disadvantaged, Indigent, General
Program Description:
Each clinic will sterilize 30-40 animals per day, four days per week, 51 weeks per year. Total projected spay and neuter surgeries per clinic per year would be a minimum of 6,120 once fully operational. Clients are charged a fraction of the actual cost of surgery. Clinico's clinics are supported by grants and donations. By providing these services in targeted areas and promoting the message of 'saving lives through sterilization', we can reach the goal of reducing shelter intake and eliminating euthanasia of healthy animals.
Program Long-Term Success:
At the close of the first fiscal year, our clinic in Pico Rivera is fully operating and hitting the target of 30-40 spay and neuter surgeries per day.
