Leadership Statement:

The 100 Club of Arizona was the first organization to offer their assistance to me when my DPS Officer, Doug Knutson, was killed in the line of duty. I know first-hand what the support of the 100 Club means to the families of officers/firefighters who lose a loved-one in the line of duty. I am proud that since I became the executive director, we have been able to extend the support of the 100 Club to all families of public safety officers and firefighters in the state of Arizona, to include local, county, state, federal and tribal agencies. In addition to extending our benefits to the entire state, we have increased our benefits and programs to reach out to the public safety agencies to contribute to the safety and welfare of those who serve us 24/7.

Program Description:

It has been the tradition of the 100 Club of Arizona to not ask anything of our members beyond the payment of their annual dues. The yearly membership dues sustain the daily operations of the 100 Club of Arizona and provide for the financial assistance to the families of officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed. The 100 Club of Arizona still holds to this philosophy, however; members are provided opportunities to participate in events, donate services, and contribute financially to special needs.

There are many organizations and business in our community that wish to provide support and services when an officer or firefighter is seriously injured or killed. Some want to show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by the public safety community. The 100 Club of Arizona coordinates available resources with needs of public safety families through the Helping Emergency Response Officer and Survivors (H.E.R.O.S) and Special Needs programs.
