Andy joined JFF in November of 2007 as its first full-time employee.
Prior to JFF he spent seven years at U.S. Trust advising families on
charitable giving and philanthropic strategy. He began his career in
philanthropy on the program staff of the J.P. Morgan Charitable Trust
and the Booth Ferris Foundation. He represents JFF on the boards of the
LGBT Movement Advancement Project and the Queer Youth Fund and is
currently President of The Paul Rapoport Foundation, one of the
nation’s oldest LGBT grantmakers. He holds a bachelor’s degree from
Hamilton College.</p>

Andrew Lane joined the Johnson Family Foundation in 2007 as its first full-time Executive Director. Prior to joining JFF Andy was Senior Vice President and Metro-Atlantic Team Leader of Foundation Advisory Services at U.S. Trust, where he spent seven years advising families on charitable giving and philanthropic strategy. He began his career in grantmaking on the program staff of the J.P. Morgan Charitable Trust and the Booth Ferris Foundation. He represents JFF on the boards of the LGBT Movement Advancement Project and the Queer Youth Fund and is President of the The Paul Rapoport Foundation, a leading funder of New York City's queer community. He is a graduate of Hamilton College.
