Mission Statement

The 2nd Wave is an educational and political non-profit organization that seeks to serve the state of Illinois through civic education and widespread engagement in the political process. The 2nd Wave hopes to reach out to areas and subpopulations of Illinois that are classically underrepresented or unassimilated in the political process and for whom there is little or no political voice. It is the conviction of The 2nd Wave that the inclusion of the voices of the unheard strengthens the community at large.
