Mission Statement
Our primary focus is bringing global justice and equality to women, children and disabled living in sub-poverty areas of the world. Our project has a core base of Fair Trade, by bringing economic self sufficiency to those who cannot compete in the global market. Their trade craft is their sole income, and by bringing it into the global market, they will be able to support themselves and families. We also bring an understanding to people that Fair Trade is also a sustainable solution to global warming.

Profile:
<strong>A 27 year background in law, civil rights, and social advocacy has enable me to bring a sense of justice to this project, as well as being an in-house legal department. </strong>
Leadership Statement:
<div>Womens Future Benefit is an all volunteer organization. We use all donations for the sole benefit of out Project.</div><div> </div><div>Our organization is unique in the most basic way--Fair Trade. Since this is not mainstream to most Americans, we are finding that Womens Future Benefit is a refreshing way to look at economic justice and environmental issues facing our Nation. </div><div> </div><div>We offer a solution to many problems that people want to eradicate: poverty, human rights, global economic development, economic justice, global warming, and just "going green".</div><div> </div><div>We are happy to know that our Project is being embraced for its uniqueness. We are even happier that we have used this past year to bring Fair Trade to people who have only hear about it but never understood it. That, to us, is a wonderful thing.</div><div> </div><div>Although we have had to use our time and talents [not monetary resources] to educate people, we feel a deep sense of accomplishment. When we entered this year, we were met with this challenge, but be faced it head on and are now able to say that we have made great strides in the educational field of Fair Trade in America. <br /></div>

Program Description:
<div>Womens Future Benefit is raising money to open a Fair Trade store in our region. We will use this as an educational platform for our Project, Fair Trade and as a supplemental financial support.</div><div> </div><div>We have found that without an avenue to participate in Fair Trade, people lack an understanding of its value and importance in our environment and society. <br /></div>
Program Long-Term Success:
<div>By offering a Fair Trade outlet within our region, we will be bringing Fair Trade to the general public. The outlet itself offers many positive things: educational forum on Fair Trade and the environment, global economic justice, a sustainable alternative for "going green", a physical store to bring our beneficiaries Fair Trade items into mainstream American lives, a secondary financial support to out Project.</div><div> </div><div>Our region does not have a Fair Trade outlet of any kind. There is a real need for this, and its outreach can be supplemented through Womens Future Benefit's website. Our community is in 28 countries, so access to direct products from our Project to those people would be beneficial to our artisans.</div><div> </div><div>The final consideration is the boost in local economic development. Our region needs employment opportunities, so this outlet would be a multiple win-win for all concerned. <br /></div>
Program Short-Term Success:
<strong>Each person that we are able to bring to self sufficiency and into the global market is a success. To be the vehicle to financial independence for another is a success. As a means of enabling a person to qualify for money to start a business and an outlet for their products is a success.</strong>
Program Success Monitored by:
<strong>We are a hands on project. We will be directly there to see and document the success.</strong>
Program Success Examples:
<strong>A sign of success for out project is the self empowerment and sufficiency of those we assist. We will see first hand the growth of their abilities as they are able to compete in the global market. When they are fully able to support themselves, we assist another.</strong>
