Program Description:
<div>We're helping raise funds and awareness for Angel of Mercy's home for children, an orphanage for 40 HIV/AIDS orphans in their care. The home will be family style on a large plot with a playground, classrooms and a medical clinic. </div>
Program Long-Term Success:
<div>Angel of Mercy helps orphans with HIV/AIDS in Cameroon. Their efforts currently test and provide ongoing medical and nutritional oversight of those affected by HIV/AIDS. The long term goal is to provide safe shelter and consistent care for the orphans. </div>
Program Short-Term Success:
<div>To build awareness among individuals, groups, service groups, schools and churches about the need for funds to complete the orphanage project. Our short term goal is to identify donor groups who would adopt the project and see it through to completion. </div>
Program Success Monitored by:
<div>200 Orphanages board, Rotary Host Club in Cameroon and Angel of Mercy USA will monitor the progress of the project and the distribution of funds. </div>
Program Success Examples:
<div>The project is currenlty been adopted by a group of volunteers across the U.S. The group recently completed a "Giving Trip" to learn more about Angel of Mercy, The culture and the project location. Volunteers raised funds for the travel and are continuing fund raising efforts to complete the project.</div>
