Patti Schwarztrauber is currently the Executive Director of Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence. She has been with Artemis since 1997.
<div><br />In her positions with Artemis Center, Patti has provided client advocacy, child therapy, and systems coordination. She assisted in the development of the Child Witness of Domestic Violence Homicide Response Team and has conducted training to several various groups on domestic violence issues. She also serves on and/or chairs numerous state and local systems coordination teams and task force groups. Patti is a member of the Leadership Dayton 2003-2004 class.</div>

<div>Prior to working with Artemis Center, Patti worked with Montgomery County Support Enforcement Agency. Patti also held social work positions in Pennsylvania prior to relocating to Dayton in 1995. Patti is experienced in direct client services with both children and adults in a multitude of settings, including child welfare, mental health, health care, and substance abuse agencies.
<div> </div>Patti is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio, and received her Master of Social Work from Ohio State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She has completed diversity/anti-oppression training from the Cultural Bridges Justice Institute, and is a member of the National Association of Social Work.</div>
