Mission Statement

The mission of LOVE Christian Clearinghouse is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.  We provide emergency assistance and referrals to other social service agencies for low-income families and individuals in our community. Our mission and services do not discriminate based on race, color, religious affiliation or gender.

Anne Marie Schuster has a background in retail management including buying office line responsibilities and corporate training management and development.  She was the Clearinghouse Director for 2 years prior to accepting the position of Executive Director.  

Leadership Statement:

LOVE Christian Clearinghouse provides an opportunity for Christian volunteers to live out their faith in service to Christ by serving others.  As a call-in center, the phone call <u>is</u> the ministry and our volunteers from 21 different churches, listen with an attentive ear, and share the love of Christ over the phone.  We speak to some of our callers during some of the worst times of their lives and we help financially when we can, and offer referrals to help eleviate the root causes of their current financial difficulties.  We start to build a relationship with each person - even if only for the duration of a phone call.  Each person is treated with dignity and respect - they are our neighbors - they are us.
