Program Description:
Community College Programs YFU offers students from other countries aged 18-23 the opportunity to continue their college level learning in the United States. YFU has the cooperation of many community colleges throughout the US to allow students from foreign countries to participate in their programs. Many different community college programs are offered including semester programs, full year programs and certificate programs (two year degree program).

Program Description:
Secondary School Programs Primarily, YFU administers inbound programs for students aged 16-18, who will stay with a hostfamily for a period of one year while attending a high school. Further, YFU operates outbound programs for American teenagers, who travel abroad to live with a hostfamily for a summer, a semester or a year program. In cooperation with YFU affiliates in an international network, the organization handles all aspects of the student exchange including promotion,

Program Description:
Scholarship Programs YFU administers several scholarship programs, which are funded by the federal government of the United States and other countries within the program. Among them the Congress-Bundestag Program between Germany and the US, the FLEX (Future Leader Exchange) with the countries of the former Soviet Union. Most of the programs are merit-based scholarships, but there are scholarships based on financial needs as well.
