Program Description:
"Activities to Build Life Experiences" (ABLE) provides children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to increase independence through a variety of experiences (summer camp, dances, outings in the community) that build socialization and self-confidence

Provides individuals with disabilities, and their parents/caregivers, assistance with information and resources to help navigate through the special education and/or adult human service system

Program Description:
Community education to promote acceptance and tolerance in families, schools, neighborhoods and workplaces; "Differences: Gotta Have em!" presentations, produced by teen members of the ARCh Yout Team, reduce bullying by emphasizing the importance of treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Presentations on preventable causes of disabilities like Shaken baby syndrome, Fetal alcohol syndrome, lead poisoning and childhood accidents, save lives and tax dollars.
Presentations on Positive Communication, Communication Styles, Celebrating Differences, etc. also promote inclusion and appreciation of diversity
Program Long-Term Success:
More than 5,000 students in K-12 reached each year; more than 100 presentations each year provide tips and strategies to empower audience members to build a world where all people are valued and encouraged to contribute.
