Impact Summary from the Nonprofit

Over the past year, the Jessie Rees Foundation has been able to empower kids fighting can-
cer in 162 Children’s Hospitals, 175 Ronald McDonald Houses and in over 4,500 homes. They
have stuffed and shipped out over 25,000 JoyJars to kids fighting cancer in all 50 states and
even children in London, Germany, Canada and South Africa. Unfortunately there is no time
to celebrate because cancer does not take a break...kids and families needs us NOW!

The facts still say...
• Today, a child dies from cancer every 4 hours
• Today, and every day, 41 kids are told they have cancer
• Today, over 50,000 kids sit in hospitals receiving treatment
• Today, over 250,000 kids get treated at home
• Today, these kids feel lonely, limited and labeled

The problem still shows a...

100% need hope, joy, and love

100% need to be encouraged to Never Ever Give Up

100% need to know they have a network of support lifting them up

100% of siblings get lost in the care

100% of families that lose a child need to be encouraged to never ever give up

With the work of Jessie Rees Foundation, a solution is being offered. A solution that truly
empowers kids fighting cancer to “never ever give up” during their most difficult season of
life. A solution that is full of hope, joy and love. It is clinically proven that a positive mental
outlook can dramatically improve ones resilience rate. So we press on with passion and
persistence so Jessie’s wish to encourage every kid fighting cancer to never ever give up can
be reached.
