Dr. Ashfaq Ishaq is an exceptional multi-disciplinary thinker. He is co-author of Success in Small & Medium Scale Enterprises, Oxford University Press, 1987, and his articles have appeared in the Journal of Conflict Resolution, Canvass, Education Standard, Finance&Development, and The Lancet. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the George Washington University, Masters in Public Administration from the University of Punjab, and BA in economics and statistics from Government College, Lahore, Pakistan.   In 2004 he received the prestigious American Muslim Award in Los Angeles and the World Culture Open Award for Humanitarian Service in Seoul, Korea. He is member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, and the International Academy of the Visual Arts. He serves on the scientific committee of the Annual Cybertherapy Conference, is a global advisory board member of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies, advisory board member of the Global Child Mental Health Campaign, advisor to the Aspen Institute Global Initiative on Arts, Culture and Society, and senior advisor to the Business Council for International Understanding.

Leadership Statement:

The ICAF's programs reduce violence (Peace through Art), remediate suffering (Healing Arts), and grow imagination (Arts Olympiad).  The U.S.Olympic Committee has granted the ICAF an exclusive license to use ‘Arts Olympiad’ and related marks. The ICAF does not charge children or schools any fee for participation in its programs, festivals, and exhibitions.  Since 1998, the ICAF has published the ChildArt magazine, without a single commercial advertisement. The ICAF’s programs are funded with donations from creative and empathic individuals. Please join the ICAF circle of friends and supporters to bring about a creativity revolution for a just, prosperous, and peaceful future.
