Medical Services Outcomes for FY12:9,802 patient visits provided; 1,690 low income patients provided care;5,981 primary and specialty care appointments provided; 725 mental health visits provided;496 physical therapy visits provided; 813 women's health visits provided; 416 patient education sessions; 3,444 intensive care coordination appointments provided; 18, 218 prescriptions dispensed; 100% of patients with a diagnosis of diabetes included in AFC's diabetes registry, which is being used to manage care, Specific medical goals for FY13 are to meet or exceed outcomes measured in FY12. All financial goals were met or exceeded. Expanded immunization program was implemented. Specific diseases we worked to prevent include seasonal flu, hepatitis B, pneumonia, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis and zoster.

"Volunteers are the heart of the Medical Services provided here in the AFC." She is a graduate of Mills College in Oakland CA and has a MSW degree from The Catholic University. Her previous experience includes 15 years in the communications industry and the managed health care field.
