Mission Statement

Young People's Performing Company provides classes, workshops and performance opportunities in the dramatic arts for young people from kindergarten age through high school. The process of character development within a rehearsal setting or creative dramatic workshop enables students to gain an understanding of the motives and feelings of others and gives them an enhanced perspective of the community in which they will interact as adults. Culmination in public performances builds self-confidence, communication skills, responsibility and group interaction. Our goal is to foster quality ensemble theater in which cooperation and consideration for individual talent is essential.
