Mission Statement
<p> </p><p>Hope4KidZ,
Inc. is a public benefit corporation, organized for charitable purposes. Our
mission includes: </p><div><ul><li>Increase the protection of foster children living in large
group facilities</li><li>Increase the accountability of CPS and contracted agents to
those affected by its policy and procedures</li><li>Inform and assist all people
involved in the care of children in foster care</li><li>Work with legislators, Child
Care Licensing, state offices, media, and the local community, to create a
safer life for children in state foster care </li><li>Raise awareness in
society of governmental agencies' failure to protect children in foster care</li><li>Provide legal advocacy for children abused in institutional foster care (RTC).</li><li>Develop and implement solutions that enhance the quality of life for affected children.</li><li>Through public awareness, increase the identification of victims and ensure receipt of services and therapy.</li><li>Reduce the incidents of abuse in residential state
foster care facilities by developing policy initiatives and informing stake holders of systemic problems in the child-protective system.</li><li>Increase support services for children, abused in state foster care.</li><li>Assess children's ability to return home.</li></ul></div><p> </p>

<p>Hope4KidZ, Inc. is a nonprofit
organization of citizens throughout the nation, who realize that family dynamics change and children, languishing in Texas state foster care, need to return home when possible.</p>
<p>Our vision is to be the state's most effective
advocate and support system for children who are abused while in state foster
care.</p>

<p>Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and nurturing
environment</p><div>Child abuse should be dealt with in criminal court, like the
crime it is</div><div>Children have basic legal protections that
are not enforced</div><div> Society has a moral and legal obligation to protect our
children from abuse and neglect </div><div>The safety and rights of children in foster care are paramount to the rights of residential facilities and their staff</div><div>Public agencies that serve children should be efficient,
accountable, and should place the "best interests of the child" above
all else</div>
<p>children should have the right to competent legal representation
in all cases - Social workers must abide by the laws of the state - Anyone who
harms a child while in state foster care must be charged with the crime of
Injury to a Child - Anyone responsible for the death of a child in
state foster care must be charged with manslaughter, at the very least</p></div>
