Program Long-Term Success:
We continued to improve our programs and operational systems to better connect our members with each other and with opportunities to make a difference: Further developed our on-line community with improved website and expanded social networking activities including a growing presence on Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, and other sites. Created a mentoring program connecting community members with recently returned volunteers. Made progress on plans for a commemorative space on or near the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to honor the values of service and international understanding, and provide a convening spot for individuals inspired by Peace Corps service.
