Church on the Street works with nearly 1,000 of the most hardened and disregarded homeless in the city of Atlanta by walking with them where they exist through their suffering and struggles.  Church on the Street also serves hundreds of congregations, organizations and universities by offering opportunities for consulting, training and education about caring for the vulnerable in their home communities.

   Our goal with the Center is to help the church reclaim its central task of loving its vulnerable neighbors.  We do this by inviting the church to work along side of us and receive training in outreach ministry.  We consult with churches around the country to help them develop outreach programs.  We publish academic and practical articles, books and blogs about theology, public policy and church practices that relate to our mission.
