Mr. Newton started at FCAN in 1987, becoming Executive Director in 2001. Mr. Newton was a Funded Consumer Representative at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and is a member of the Board of Coalition Against Insurance Fraud.  Mr. Newton was elected to the Board of Director of the Consumer Federation of America in 2010.

<div>FCAN is registering 20,000 new voters in 2010 in the Orlando area. We are focusing on low income and minority individuals, in accordance with our mission statement.  We intend to do GOTV in the final weeks leading up to the election. We work with America Votes and plan to enter our new registrants into the VAN.</div>
