Impact Summary from the Nonprofit

<div>Africa for Jesus Ministries bought a 5 acres of land in Burkina Faso. Last year, Mary Simmons and I were able to feed 326 widows and their children in a town of 100% muslims, donated clothes, eye glasses and care kits to two different orphanages in Burkina Faso. We were able to establish an office and two representatives to operate it in Burkina Faso. All documents to obtain a non-profit status in Burkina Faso was completed this year.Got estimates st start work on the 38 acres of land donated to Africa for Jesus Ministries by a businessman in Bobo-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso. Met with Director of Customs for international shipment, Visited several schools and orphanages. Went to Nigeria to introduce the ministry and to solicit for funds.Water is very essential in Burkina Faso and we are currently working on a water project - fresh water well and to construct a road to the 38 acres of land from the highway and a bungalow. </div>

<div>Two years ago, I went to Burkina Faso to purchase a land with $5,000 I won because of my community involvement in the Dallas area.  I went to a meeting and as we were coming home at mid-night, I saw some young boys sitting under the street lights. I asked my host what they were doing and she explained that they do not have electricity in their homes and they came out to use the lights on the highway.  My heart just went out to them and the next day, I decided to build a youth center where they will all come to learn and study. This organization is unique because I am an African, trained in the United States both in the corporate America to help train the Africans in Africa.</div>
