Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
<div>Twilight Wish works to make a difference in the lives of deserving, low-income seniors across the country by making their wishes come true. To date, we have impacted the lives of over 1,765 low-income elderly by providing what they could not provide for themselves. Sometimes a wish fulfills an immediate need and sometimes it is a last wish or a lifelong dream. Large or small, all wishes provide a meaningful "thank you" to the senior for a lifetime of service to others. Through our wish granting programs, we are working to bring about a cultural shift in the way our society views aging Americans. </div>

Leadership Statement:
<div>There is nothing better than the joy seniors experience the day of their wish granting. Since the fastest growing population is the senior generation, I am so excited to see the younger generations get involved in senior wish granting and to know that they are inspired to perpetuate our vision to "make this world a nicer place to age one wish at a time" into the future. Anyone who is touched by the granting of a Twilight Wish, through direct volunteerism, philanthropy or media, is affected in a positive way. Our country benefits by learning of the good things that good people are actively doing everyday. </div>

Program Description:
<div>Twilight Wish Foundation is a national nonprofit charitable organization that fulfills wish requests for seniors under several programs. Since our founding in 2003, we have impacted the lives of over 1,570 low-income elderly by providing what they could not provide for themselves. We serve low-income elderly, age 68 and older, who earn less than 200% of poverty level or less than $21,660 annually or who live in a nursing facility. Approximately 78% of the wishes we have granted fall under our "Simple Needs" wish granting program through which we fulfill wishes for basic quality-of-life healthcare and accessibility items including hearing aids, dentures, mattresses, wheelchairs, and walkers. These items enhance the quality of life for many vulnerable, low-income elderly, reducing isolation and increasing mobility and accessibility, resulting in improved self-esteem and independence. In addition, as part of our overall mission of granting wishes, we created our Intergenerational Caring Program (ICP) which directly matches local schools with nearby nursing homes, benefiting both the students and seniors in a wish granting experience. Our main goal is to continue the progress we have made since our founding and continue to fulfill wishes for deserving seniors across the U.S.</div>
