Utilizing the Adult-Adolescent Parenting Inventory (AAPI-2), the following improvement in attitude changes occurred:
1. Ability to be Empathetically Aware of Children’s Needs

The foundation of nurturing parenting is the ability of the caregiver to demonstrate empathy toward the needs of children. Empathetic caregivers are sensitive to the needs of children and places those needs in high regard.
2. Appropriate Expectations of Children

Caregivers who have appropriate expectations tend to encourage a child’s self-growth, environmental exploration, and personal power.
3. Appropriate Parent-Child Roles

A clear understanding of the role of "parent" and "child" is apparent. Children are permitted to "be children" rather than pseudo caregivers. Appropriate role clarification is an essential ingredient in effective parent-child nurturing.
