"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." 2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)<br /><br />This past year COMIX35 was part of three publishing triumphs:<br /><br />+ The full-color, evangelistic "Betrayed!" tract for pre/young teen boys was completed. The tract features "transforming robots" in a story that illustrates Christ's sacrifice vividly through the hero's willing death for a disloyal subject. One of COMIX35's Board members had his church youth group distribute copies at their local movie theater during the opening week of the "Transformers 2" film. He reported: "We probably handed out about 160 or more tracts in just 10 to 15 minutes. We were able to tell people on the way to see 'Transformers' all about the Great Transformer, Jesus, and the 'Betrayed!' tracts made it so much easier!"<br /><br />+ The first issue of the African Comics Project, a b&amp;w comic magazine entirely written and drawn by Africans, for Africans, was produced after a number of struggles. A Kenyan contributor responded: "Thank you so much for this ministry. You would never believe it, but until you contacted me about this project, I had 'moved on' from making comics to other things 'coz I wasn't seeing where the comics ministry was headed. God used you to bring me back to this ministry!" Two original long-term goals for the project may become reality sooner rather than later, Lord willing:&nbsp; [1] A French publisher will partner with COMIX35 to expand the project into Francophone countries of Africa, and [2] a Nigerian contributor to the first issue plans to produce a Nigeria-specific comic "for outreach purposes to the lost."<br /><br />+ COMIX35's coaching and consultation work on the Japanese "Manga Messiah" Bible graphic novel series produced major results: 1.6 million copies in print in 16 languages, with another 4 languages in production.
