Mission Statement
THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES, TRANSPORTATION, HOUSEKEEPING, AND MEAL PREPARATION TO PEOPLE WITH AIDS AND AIDS RELATED COMPLEX. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HELPS EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE NATURE AND TRANSMISSION OF AIDS.

POSITIVE ENERGY CENTER (PEC) IS A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO HELP HIV POSITIVE INDIVIDUALS MAINTAIN THEIR HEALTH THROUGHOUT ALL STAGES OF THE DISEASE. PEC PROVIDES CLIENTS LIVING WITH HIV, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A NATUROPATHIC MEDICAL DOCTOR, AN OPPORTUNITY TO TRY ALTERNATIVE HEALING METHODS AND REMEDIES.

THE FOOD PANTRY IS ONE OF THE BUSIEST PROGRAMS. THE PANTRY PROVIDES FOOD BOXES TO CLIENTS. THE FOOD BOXES CONTAIN 12 MEALS PER BOX WITH A POSSIBILITY OF APPROXIMATELY 36 MEAL COMBINATIONS. APPROXIMATELY 480 BOXES WERE DISTRIBUTED THIS YEAR.
