Impact Summary from the Nonprofit
<div>
We meet kids and families at the most challenging times of their lives and help them overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances – abuse and neglect, complex emotional and behavioral issues, family crises. </div><div> </div><div>Casa Pacifica began as a dream to provide caring, guidance and nurturing health and school services for abused, neglected and in need children and their families. Our goals include leading the services sector in promoting healthy outcomes for children and strengthening families. We provide emergency shelter for abused and neglected children removed from home by child protective services. Our core values are: Respect, Integrity, Courage and Compassion.</div><div><p>In 2012 we will serve over 4,000 of the central coast’s highest needs children, impacting the lives of over 12,000 children and families. We impact the lives of 505 kids and their families everyday – from Santa Maria to Simi Valley and all cities in between. Every 2.5 hours a child/youth is admitted to one of our programs. Both of our campus based and community based programs have a waiting list and we have an 87% success rate in all programs combined. Every month, in addition to government funding, each child’s care on-campus requires $1,000 in private donations. </p><p>Each year our services are greater in demand, consequently our annual budget grows as we serve more and more children and their families. This year our budget is $26 million. </p>
