Mission Statement

<div>The MaxFund is a non-profit organization established to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners and to find new homes for these animals once they have recovered. Further, the Maxfund is committed to the following goals:</div> <div>Develop and implement education programs pertaining to animal care, with emphasis on the importance of spaying and neutering.</div> <div>Disseminate information on spay/neuter facilities and, to conduct spay/neuter clinics for pets of low income families.</div> <div>Be a voice for the animals on issues of animal welfare</div> <div>Cooperate with other animal facilities/shelter in accomplishing these goals.</div>

Impact Summary from the Nonprofit

<div>For the 5th consective year we have received the 4 Star Charity Navigator award. We have spayed/neutered 675 animals in rural areas.  All of our shelter animals are spayed/neutered and microchipped, we have found 1262 homes.</div> <div>We are a true No-kill shelter, we do not presort our animals. We take animals from other shelters and we take injured animals and give them care as you would your own pet and rehome. We are purchasing a wonderful adoption van to take to locations to find more pets homes. We do make a difference, we have a low cost clinic for the public to bring their pets, that otherwise would not receive treatment. We are a small shelter that makes a huge difference in our community for the helath of the pets and the people who have them as companions.</div>
