Profile:
Founded in 1998 by Dr. Lars Dunberg, Global Action works to declare the kingdom of God in word and deed to people around the world. Global Action strives to fill the gaps throughout the world where there are desperate needs but no ministries meeting them. We do this with key national partnerships and worldwide networks. Our vision is to challenge, inspire, and equip believers to become risk-takers for God, who radically impact the world for Jesus Christ. Global Action focuses on six key ministry areas: evangelism; training; compassion; children & youth; women & men; and multiplication.<br />

Program Description:
Hope Center Ukraine provides summer camps for orphans and underprivileged children. It is also used for the International Vocational Academy (IVA) for the training of teenagers forced to leave the state-run orphanages at 17 without any money, skills or employment
Program Long-Term Success:
Hundreds of children's lives have been impacted by accepting Jesus as their Savior. They have been provided a chance to experience childhood fun, adequate food and the love many lack. The teens who attend IVA are able to learn character and lifeskills so that they can seek employment instead of turning to a life of crime or prostitution. Many also receive Christ. The town of Kerch and neighboring villages have received much needed medical equipment as well as feeding programs for street children and festivals for the orphans.
