Leadership Statement:
<div>TWI's unique approach to ethics is to bring the discussion of ethics from the ivory tower to the kitchen table by emphasizing the core nature of ethics: making good decisions about people and relationships. TWI is unique as a social entrepreneurial nonprofit business, funding its operations and community outreach through the sale of ethics learning tools, ethics training programs and various consulting services. TWI’s underlying belief that informs its training programs and educational products is that ethics is, ultimately about people, relationships and individual decision making. The TWI ripple logo embodies this idea that a drop of ethical value has a ripple effect in the organization, affecting people and relationships for the better. <br /></div>
<div> </div>
<div>Codes of Conduct and Policies provide guideposts for minimum sets of behavior in organizations. The growing reliance by organizations on Codes and Policies to guide ethical decision making has not met with much success. The news each day demonstrates that fact. What is missing is leadership’s expectation of employee personal responsibility and the possession of decision making tools that allow organizations to build a culture of trust. Through TWI’s training programs and educational learning tools we promote and help build that culture of trust.</div>
