Leadership
Mr. Ron Halog
Term:
Since
July
2005
Profile:
Mr. Halog was hired as the Executive Director of Ala Costa Center in July 2005. He is active in managing all aspects of the after-school program, including becoming an advocate for expanded services for students with special needs.
Mr. Halog has been in the non-profit field for over 24 years, specifically working with people with developmental disabilities. He has operated one of the first inclusive programs in San Francisco Bay Area. He has served as the recreation national committee member for Easter Seals
Leadership Statement:
<div>Throughout my career, I have supported students and families in the non-profit sector. A large majority of that time has been assisting people with disabilities. My personal goal for being in this field is to give people the opportunity to have a variety of different experiences, thereby giving them the ability to make an informed decision on their choices in life. I am honored to be part of the Ala Costa family. The children’s smiles along with the teachers’ caring attitude are what drew me to the organization; those are, by far, the best things about Ala Costa Centers.</div>
