Mission Statement
Millions of Americans are concerned about the welfare and needs of animals and Animal Charities of America is the only alliance of its kind that focuses on animal issues. Our member agencies are screened annually to ensure that they meet the highest standards of substantive program services, management and fiscal responsibility. ACA is managed by a volunteer board of directors. Because Animal Charities of America is a volunteer organization, it is considered to be the most efficient and lowest cost alliance of its kind. Donors can be sure when giving directly to an ACA member organization that the charity they've chosen is a legitimate and worthwhile national nonprofit whose costs and programs have been reviewed carefully.
