<div>I began this work in the highest crime housing projects of East Oakland.  Noticeable results were obtained in food production, the effects of beauty on the environment, and on the residents in their capacity to develop greater self-esteem and skills.  Business overseers in the environment learned greater management skills by witnessing the efficacy of the simple yet powerful program.  This is now being duplicated on a larger scale throughout the West County area of Contra Costa, and the Alameda County city of Oakland,</div>
