Program Description:
HANO programs include: Training in board governance, management, fund development, planning, collaborative leadership, advocacy and other nonprofit topics; conferences for capacity building and networking; sector public policy and advocacy; research and information for and about nonprofits; a monthly e-newsletter and frequent member updates; and time and money-saving products and services such as Directors & Officers insurance, discounted teleconferencing, subscriptions and member discounts on training.
Program Long-Term Success:
Convened first annual HANO Conference, "Moving Forward Together," which included breakout tracks on developing the next generation of nonprofit leaders, advocacy, technology and accountability. More than 250 nonprofit leaders attended.
