MISSION AND PROGRAMS
Mission
To invest the contributions of interested organizations and individuals with sufficient care to distribute the annual earnings, only, to qualifying students.
Programs
The only program of the Fund is distribute its annual earnings to qualifying students in the form of financial aid.
Additional Comments from the Organization
As of the end of the year 2001, the fund has granted 83 scholarships totalling over $76,000. The recipients have enrolled in colleges throughout the nation with a substantial number attending United Negro College Fund (UNCF) member institutions.
GOALS AND RESULTS
Accomplishments for Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2001
- Awarded six scholarships of $1,000 each.
Objectives for Fiscal Year Beginning January 1, 2002
- Identify proceeds that can be dstributed to qualifying candidates by April 1, 2002
- Distribute scholarships to winners by 9/15/02
