MISSION AND PROGRAMS

Mission

The college has designed its curriculum and supporting programs around goals in four basic arenas: 1. Spiritually - Rosedale Bible College serves to foster communion with God, obedience to Jesus Christ as Lord, and life in the Spirit as indispensable characteristics of world Christians. 2. Theologically - the stance of the school within the world Anabaptist fellowship is conservative and evangelical, with a high view of Scripture and of the continuing activity of the Holy Spirit in the church and the world. 3. Academically - the program centers on the teaching and the study of the Bible as the Word of God, with a commitment to excellence and integrity in scholarship. 4. Vocationally - the school carries a vision for the building of the Kingdom of God through preparing servant leaders in missions, pastoral and worship ministry, family life, and community.

Programs

RBC offers an Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies, a One-Year Certificate in Biblical Studies, and an Institute for Pastoral Studies Cert.

Accomplishments for Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2006

  1. Completed a major re-visioning process and developed a three-year plan for development

  1. Initiate three new areas of concentration within our assocaite of arts degree
  2. Introduce a six-week cross-cultural learning experience in Spain
  3. Enhance our campus exterior, interior technology and learning support

RBC has ongoing and systematic evaluation processes to guage its effectiveness in terms of student outcomes and also achievement of other institutional goals.
