Presentation and Education of Cultural Arts
Programs
- Studios, Gallery and Hall: TNCA leased space through August 31, 2008, that was formerly a hotel. This building enabled TNCA to offer studios to artists and musicians to practice their craft, as well as a place to teach others. Curate at least eight new art shows annually, and sponsor student art sales featuring talent from local schools. The gallery provided TNCA resident artists and selected non-resident artists with a venue to exhibit their art for sale to the public.
- Concerts & Performances:: Present six concerts to the public containing a wide repertoire, including guest symphony professionals. Sponsor two community festivals to introduce TNCA programs that attract over 1,000 people from the community. President musicals and plays in new performance space at the French Creek Nature Center in partnership with Lorain County MetroParks. (Expenses include lighting and sound systems.)
- Education: Provide educational programming for children through seniors, some directly for family units Programs. are designed for novice to professional in music, ceramic, fibre arts, printmaking, drawing, painting, drama and dance. The educational effort also includes 3 Junior Symphony and an intern/Mentorships programs
