MISSION AND PROGRAMS

Mission

Basic help for 300 proud but poor Maasai children.

Programs

We have provided a well balanced lunch for every school child every school day for the last four years. We have bough school clothes (uniforms) twice during this period. We have built one classroom for each grade from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

GOALS AND RESULTS

Accomplishments for Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2007

  1. During a severe drought, we built the first fresh water well not just for the 300 students but for all the members of the seven surrounding villages.
  2. Last year, our volunteers built a mile long safety fence around the school to keep the wild animals from hurting the children.
  3. This past July, our volunteers built the first school library, a playground, and a separate dormitory for the 7th & 8th grade boys and girls.

Objectives for Fiscal Year Beginning January 1, 2008

  1. To have enough donations to continue our programs for this school.
