Chief ExecutiveRev. Pierre Davis Chief Executive ProfileArchpriest Pete "Pathfinder" Davis, Primate of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, is the originator of the Aquarian Tabernacle Tradition of English Traditional-based Wicca, and the Primate of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, which he founded in November of 1979, in Washington State. Pete has served two terms as president of the Interfaith Council of Washington State, and is a long time member of the Washington State Department of Corrections Religious Services Advisory Committee which advises the department on religious programs in Washington's institutions, where in the recent past he also served for several years as the secretary. He is also active in other Interfaith organizations and efforts on behalf of the Wiccan communities in the Pacific Northwest, and has taught Wicca in several area post-secondary educational facilities. He is a Regent of The Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary, a college-level institution which prepares Wiccan students for service as fully competent Wiccan clergy. MISSION AND PROGRAMSMissionThe Aquarian Tabernacle Church (ATC) was formed in 1979 by Pete "Pathfinder" Davis as a coven dedicated to providing religious services and support to the larger Wiccan community. The ATC was "the right idea at the right time," and in a few years grew into the first Wiccan church with full legal status and recognition by the governments of three nations. The ATC now has many affiliated groups sharing the benefits and protections of the ATC recognition "umbrella" through its unique group exemption from the U.S. Treasury. ProgramsThe Aquarian Tabernacle Church is the founding organization of the Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary. The thrust of the Seminary is toward the professionalization of Wiccan clergy, to prepare students for service to their communities as skilled and competent ministers of their faith. While it is principally focused on the ATC Wiccan tradition, it is open to students following other Pagan and Wiccan traditions. The ATC is also the source of the SpiralScouts program. The purpose of SpiralScouts is to provide an opportunity for Pagan families to interact with their children, for Pagan children to interact with each other, to instill in our children the concepts of inclusivity, the balance of gender energies, tolerance for differences of belief and other useful cultural customs and values, the Pagan worldview, and to promote the growth and development of interpersonal skills and life skills in these children.
